Every month, benefits—which include December food stamps—are deposited into SNP accounts according to the same timetable.

December SNAP Benefits Texas: Benefits from the Texas Lone Star Card, the state’s EBT card, are given to Texas Lone Star Card members once a month. The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (THHS) is responsible for administering the Texas Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Programme (SNAP).

For low-income households who comply with programme guidelines, there is SNAP. The majority of persons between the ages of 18 and 49 who do not have children in their home are eligible to receive Medicaid for a maximum of three months throughout three years, according to Texas HHS.

The majority of food, along with seeds and plants to grow food, may be purchased with SNAP. Tobacco products, alcoholic beverages, and non-eating or non-drinking items are not eligible for SNAP purchases.

Major supermarkets, shops, and any other location where a Lone Star Card is accepted can accept the Texas Lone Star Card.

Not all retailers that allow online purchases will accept your Texas Lone Star Card, but you can use it there nonetheless.

Who will receive their December payment this week?

The final digit of your Eligibility Determination Group (EDG) number determines whether or not you will receive benefits, as stated below, over a 15-day period starting on the first.

  • Last digit 1: 3rd of the month
  • Last digit 2: 5th of the month
  • Last digit 3: 6th of the month
  • Last digit 4: 7th of the month
  • Last digit 5: 9th of the month
  • Last digit 6: 11th of the month
  • Last digit 7: 12th of the month
  • Last digit 8: 13th of the month
