The people who are getting this money have been asking when People with Social Security will get their payments

December SSDI Payments: There are many parts of the government that help people in the United States, but the Social Security Administration is one of the most helpful. It makes sense that they would offer Supplemental Security Income (SSI) and Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) in December.

Are people in the US getting two SSDI checks in December?

The Social Security Administration usually sends two checks every three months. Although this has nothing to do with the holidays, it will certainly be helpful to people in the United States during this time. In December, Americans will get two checks instead of one.

People who are eligible for Supplemental Security Income (SSI) payments will get these checks. You may also be curious about when these checks will be sent. Let us tell you the exact times and ways you can apply for these two checks. This is because not all people who get Social Security will get these checks.

On Friday, December 1, the first SSI check will be sent out. The SSA says that these checks will be sent to your home on that exact date. Also, the second check will be sent out four weeks later, on December 29, Friday. The cost-of-living increase (COLA) for 2024 will be added to this second check, making it bigger than the first check that month. Remember that the cost of living will rise by 3.2% each year in 2024, less than the 8% rise in 2023.
