Steps to check unifiedportal-mem.epfindia.gov.in online:
- Sign in to the unifiedportal-mem.epfindia.gov.in website.
- Provide the UAN and password.
- Select the category for online services on the EPF website.
- To determine the status of your EPF claim, click the monitor claim status link.
Get EPF Status with a missed call
- Employees can verify the status of their claim by dialing 011-22901406 and leaving a missed call from their registered mobile number.
- However, the employee’s telephone number must be linked to their UAN.
- On the UAN portal, the employee must also update their PAN, Aadhaar, and bank account information.
- The employee is not punished because the call was disconnected after two rings. The claim details will be sent via SMS to the registered mobile phone.
Get EPF Status by text message
- Employees can send an SMS to inquire about the status of their claim. To transmit the SMS, the employee’s mobile device must be linked to the UAN site.
- SMS messages must be formatted as “EPFOHO UAN LAN” and sent to the number 7738299899.
- The format specifies as ‘LAN’ the language in which the employee prefers to receive information.
PF Claims Requirements
A person with an EPF account is eligible to file a withdrawal claim for EPF funds under the following conditions:
- After 55 years of age or retirement, the entire EPF can be claimed. The entire EPF balance cannot be withdrawn upon early retirement.
- At age 54, or one year prior to retirement, a claim for 90% of the EPF can be made.
- In the event of unemployment, 75% of the EPF can be claimed, and the remaining 25% can be transferred to a new EPF account upon regaining employment.
- After two months of unemployment, the EPF can be claimed in full.
