Residents who buy an e-bike this month in Atlanta can receive a $1,000 rebate. Proof of residency is required for the week-long sweepstakes, and applications will be accepted starting on June 16. According to the Atlanta Regional Commission, the $1 million initiative will bring 800–1,000 new e-bikes to the city, lowering its carbon footprint and improving low-income citizens’ access to jobs. A standard e-bike rebate of $1,500 and a cargo e-bike rebate of $2,000 are available to those making $54,000 or less annually, while higher earners can receive a $500 rebate for a standard e-bike and a $1,000 rebate for a cargo e-bike.
