FAFSA Deadline 2024: Getting government help to start or finish your college education can make all the difference between making it to the graduation ceremony and quitting. This is why you have to pay great attention to the deadline for applying and ensure you fulfill all the criteria to get the money to which you are entitled.
Student Aid states that registration for the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for the 2024–2025 academic year started in October 2023 and will close on June 30, 2024, at the end of the present academic year.

Though it is over a month until registration closes, it is advisable to send your application right away. While some jurisdictions award more scholarships and grants with limited finances, others benefit early applicants more. Likewise, certain state-level scholarships and grants given together with the FAFSA have varied enrollment dates. We have here the whole state-by- deadline list.
See your state financial aid office if no date is stated. In other situations, it is advisable to apply right away since prizes are given until all the money has been allotted.
