Eligible items are sold tax-free thanks to the participation of major online merchants like Amazon in the sales tax holiday.

Florida Tax Free Holiday for back to school is just around the corner! When will it Start?

It’s crucial to remember that not every item might be eligible for the internet tax exemption. Sales tax may still apply to some excluded items, bundled products, and those that surpass specified levels, according to Amazon.

To optimize your savings, make sure your items are eligible every time. There are some significant exceptions even if the tax break delivers significant savings.

Books, printer paper, and computer paper are not covered unless specified otherwise. Additionally not included are electronic items such as tablet covers, game controllers, CDs and DVDs, and computer bags.

Also, people who visit may not be able to benefit from the tax break because purchases made in theme parks, entertainment centres, public lodging facilities, and airports will still be taxed.

And finally, it’s important to remember that not all businesses in Florida have to use the sales tax break.

Because of this, it’s a good idea to check with each store to see if they’re participating before making your final buy plans.
