Freedom Summer Savings Florida: What can You get on Florida’s Tax Free Days?

Florida Governor DeSantis proposes a Freedom Summer Sales Tax Holiday for 2024-2025, excluding sales tax on fishing gear, outdoor items, and state park admissions.

Freedom Summer Savings Florida: Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has suggested the Freedom Summer Sales Tax Holiday for the fiscal year 2024–2025. This is a big tax-cut plan. To kick off the summer fun, Governor DeSantis also said that all Florida State Parks would be free to visit on Memorial Day Weekend, May 24-27, 2024.

“While the federal government is causing high inflation and skyrocketing costs for families, Florida’s smart fiscal policies allow us to reduce taxes and help reduce the burden on Floridians.” Governor Ron DeSantis declared
