Humana Spending Card Activation: If you have a spending card from Humana, you must turn it on before using it. For the 2026 plan year, Humana is working with NationsBenefits to manage many allowance programs.
Official Login & Activation Site
- Go to Humana.NationsBenefits.com.
- This is the main website to activate your card or check your balance.
- When the page opens, click the “Activate Card” button.
- It is usually at the top right or in the center of the page.
- You will need your card number, expiration date, and security code (CVV) from the back of the card.
- If you already have an account and just want to log in, enter your Humana Member ID, Date of Birth, and Zip Code.
- After you sign in, you can see your balance for January 2026.
Most plans refill the allowance every month or every few months.

What you can do after Logging in?
- Check Balance: Once you are inside your account, you can check how much money is left on your card.
- Order: You can also shop for Over the Counter items like medicine, vitamins, and first aid supplies. These items can be sent to your home.
- Find Stores: There is also a “Store Locator” tool. This helps you find nearby stores where you can use your card. Many members shop at places like Walmart, Walgreens, CVS Pharmacy, or Food Lion.

Important 2026 Updates
Since it is now January 2, 2026, there are some changes to remember.
- You cannot use your old 2025 card.
- You must use the new card that was mailed in December.
- If you did not get it, call the number on your Humana ID card right away.
- If your card is declined at the store, do not panic. Many 2026 cards no longer have a barcode to scan, you have to swipe it like a credit card.
- When the machine asks Debit or Credit, always choose Credit. You do not need a PIN.
- If your plan lets you pay for utilities like electricity, water, or internet, you usually cannot just swipe the card at the utility office. You need to pay through the NationsBenefits website or mobile app instead.
