Qatar Airways says award flights with partner airlines can now be searched and booked online, which makes the process much simpler for travelers who want to go to the Philippines or connect onward inside Asia.

Qatar Airways and Philippine Airlines are already growing their partnership in other ways too. Qatar says that starting 1 June 2026, Philippine Airlines will place its PR code on Qatar Airways flights from Manila, Cebu, Clark, and Davao to Doha. It will also place its QR code on Philippine Airlines domestic flights, giving travelers easier connections inside the Philippines. The airline also says Privilege Club and Mabuhay Miles are now linked through this expanded partnership.
For Avios users, the best part is that the booking can be done online through Qatar Airways Privilege Club. Qatar’s own “Fly with Avios” page says members can book award flights online with Qatar Airways and its growing list of partner airlines, and its Philippine Airlines partnership page says members can “collect & spend Avios” on eligible Philippine Airlines flights.

Qatar Airways has not published a full official award chart for Philippine Airlines redemptions, so pricing depends on distance and cabin. Travel sites that tested the new option found business-class prices starting at 110,000 Avios one way from Los Angeles to Manila, and 154,500 Avios one way from New York to Manila. Those same reports say taxes and fees look fairly reasonable, and that wide-open business class space could make this a useful sweet spot for long trips to the Philippines.
