Applications were accepted today for the fifth round of Moving Flint Forward by the collaboration. The small business grant program will allocate 17 grants of up to $10,000 in stimulus payments to eligible Flint businesses, with financial support from General Motors.

With this most recent contribution, General Motors will have contributed nearly $1.2 million to the initiative in total. Since 2019, 62 businesses have received imperative financial and all-encompassing assistance from the Moving Flint Forward program. The initiative will, as previously declared, distribute $10,000 in stimulus funds to Flint, Michigan-based businesses and individuals. Supplemental stimulus payment of $5,000 under special requirements

• Avoid becoming a franchise.
