Ottawa Apartment Rentals: November 2023 Pricing Revealed – What You Need to Know

According to a new study from Rentals.ca and Urbanation, the average monthly rent for a one-bedroom apartment in Ottawa went up from $2,052 in October to $2,112 last month.

Ottawa Apartment Rentals: In November, the average rent for a one-bedroom apartment in Ottawa went over $2,100 a month. This was the highest rent amount since 2023.

According to a new study from Rentals.ca and Urbanation, the average monthly rent for a one-bedroom apartment in Ottawa went up from $2,052 in October to $2,112 last month. It cost 8.4% more to rent a one-bedroom apartment in Ottawa in November 2023 than it did in November 2022.

In November, the average monthly rent for a purpose-built apartment or house in Ottawa was $2,238. This was the highest monthly rent in Ottawa this year.

For a man, the average rent in Ottawa in November was $1,730. For a two-bedroom apartment, it was $2,542, and for a three-bedroom apartment, it was $2.799.

Rentals.ca and Urbanation say that the average asking rent for a home in Canada was $2,174 in November. This is $4 less than the record high of $2,178 set in October.

At $2,894, Vancouver has the highest average rent price for a one-bedroom apartment in Canada. It’s followed by Toronto at $2,601, and then Mississauga at $2,359.

In November, the average rent for a one-bedroom apartment in Kingston was $1,809 a month. This was the eleventh highest rent in Canada.
