SNAP Benefits Income Limit 2025: SNAP, once called Food Stamps, gives monthly food money through an EBT card that works like a debit card. It helps low-income families, seniors, people with disabilities, and others buy groceries. Who qualifies depends on income, household size, and living situation. The more people in your home, the higher your income limit may be.

SNAP Benefits Income Limit 2025

In 2025, the SNAP program continues to support families with regular monthly payments meant to make sure they can eat well.

SNAP Texas April Payment: Who Will Get Their Benefits Between April 14 and 20, 2025?

The program checks your income, family size, and other personal situations to decide how much help you get. If you are approved, an account will be created for you, and your food money will be sent there each month without you needing to ask.

The relationship of household income is as follows:

  • 1 person – $22,596
  • 2 people – $30,660
  • 3 people – $38,736
  • 4 people – $46,800
  • 5 people – $54,876
  • 6 people – $62,940
  • 7 people – $71,016
  • 8 people – $79,080
  • For each additional person, the amount will be increased by $8,076.

These are the tables to check if a family can access the SNAP program and to apply for it you must go to the corresponding offices.

According to the current rules, a family of six can still apply if they make $62,940 a year or less in gross income. That means all the money your family earns before taxes or other things are taken out.

SNAP Recertification April 2025: Last Chance to Renew Before Benefits Stop

If you meet this income limit, you may be able to get SNAP benefits, though it’s not promised until your whole situation is reviewed.

It should be noted that the amount is different depending on the number of members as follows:

  • 1 person – $292
  • 2 people – $536
  • 3 people – $768
  • 4 people – $975
  • 5 people – $1,158
  • 6 people – $1,390 dollars
  • 7 people – $1,536
  • 8 people – $1,756
  • $220 will be added for each additional family member.

For a family of six, the amount of help they may receive each month is $1,390. This number is based on how many people are in the household and how much income they earn. The program looks at your total monthly income and compares it to what it believes a family should be able to live on.
