SNAP Florida Recertification Deadline: The recertification process typically lasts six months in Florida to maintain access to SNAP benefits.

SNAP benefits cannot be continued beyond the expiration of the certification period without undergoing an eligibility reassessment.

The certification period varies depending on the state and beneficiary group, and must be renewed before it expires. Based on federal criteria, the Office of Economic Self-Sufficiency (ESS) of the Department of Children and Families oversees Florida’s SNAP benefits.
