Social Security Insurance payment $967: People who get Supplemental Security Income (SSI) will get their November 2025 money early. Instead of November 1, which is a Saturday, the Social Security office will send the payment on Friday, October 31, 2025. This change helps everyone get their money before the weekend.

Why SSI Payments are coming Early?

The Social Security office usually sends SSI money on the first day of each month. But if that day comes on a weekend or holiday, they send it earlier on the last working day.

Because November 1, 2025, is a Saturday, the payment will come on Friday, October 31 on Halloween. People will get their money one day early but this payment is still for November. There won’t be another SSI payment in November. The next one will come in December.

Who will Receive the October 31 Payment?

In 2025, the most money a person can get from SSI is $967. For couples who qualify, it is $1,450. But not everyone gets that much, the amount you get depends on how much money you already have, where you live, and your family situation.

SSI benefits are mainly given to:

  • People aged 65 or older with limited income.
  • People who have disabilities or are blind and meet SSA guidelines.
  • Children with medical conditions that limit their ability to function daily.

Those who are active SSI recipients will receive the Halloween payment. People who only get regular Social Security retirement or disability benefits are not part of this early deposit, as their payments follow a different schedule.

Who will not get the Halloween Payment?

Not everyone qualifies for this early deposit. Those who won’t get the October 31 payment include:

  • People with income or resources above SSI limits.
  • Those who have not updated their bank or address details with the SSA.
  • Beneficiaries who only get Social Security retirement or SSDI payments.

These individuals will receive their regular payments on their usual dates in November, based on their birth dates  November 8, 15, or 22.
