The Social Security payment system is based on anniversaries, which is a fairly straightforward method. The month in which your birthday falls determines when you receive your monthly payment.

If your birthday occurs between June 1 and June 10, you will receive your payment on June 14, the second Wednesday of the month.

If your birthday is between June 11 and June 20, you will be paid on the second Wednesday (June 21). Those born between the 21st and 31st will be paid on the third Wednesday of the month (June 28).

This is the standard schedule, and June 2023 is one of the months that utilises it. Some months have a varied number of days compared to others throughout the year.

Those who began receiving Social Security before May 1997 or who receive both Social Security and Supplemental Security Income receive SS on June 3 and SSI on June 1 and June 30.
