SSDI Payment June schedule: Find out the specific days disability benefits will be paid next month

Birth date impacts Social Security disability benefits payment, based on work history. Payments are deposited into bank accounts on the second, third, and fourth Wednesday of each month.

SSDI Payment June schedule: Your birth date usually affects when you will receive your Social Security disability benefits, which are often paid out on the second, third, and fourth Wednesday of each month. The person whose work history led to the disability payments you are receiving determines the date of your payment.

Based on their past employment, Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) benefits assist qualified individuals in meeting their monthly needs. These payments are directly deposited into your bank account each month. However, the date of payment differs according to the day of your birth.

Qualifications based on Dates of Birth

June 12, 2024

For claimants who started receiving benefits after April 30, 1997, the second payment date is June 12. Your birthdate determines this payment date:

  • Birth Dates 1-10:  If your birthday falls on a day other than the first or tenth of the month, you will get paid on June 12th.

June 18, 2024

The 18th of June marks the next payment cycle. This uses the same parameters and is also based on birth dates:

  • Birth Dates 11-20:  June 18 is when your payment will be issued if your birthday falls between June 11 and June 20.

Date of Final Payment: June 26, 2024

June 26 is the deadline for payments due in June.

  • Birth Dates 21-31:  On this date, beneficiaries who were born between the 21st and the 31st of the month will get their payout.

Disability benefits are paid on the third of each month to those who began receiving payments before May 1997.

Payment Amounts

  • Average Payment: A retiree’s typical payout will be approximately $1,915.
  • Maximum Payment: For retirees, especially those who postpone retirement, the maximum payment is $4,873.

Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI):

  • Average Payment: SSDI recipients generally receive around $1,537 on average.
  • Maximum Payment: $3,822 is the maximum SSDI payment.

It is essential to understand the payment schedule to arrange your money. Knowing your precise payment dates might help you be ready, whether you’re an SSDI beneficiary or a retiree.

Budget your spending

If you get both Social Security and Supplemental Security Income (SSI), you will get your SSI payment on May 1, 2024, and your Social Security payment on May 3, 2024.

This plan for spreading out payments is meant to make sure that people who are supposed to get money every month get it on time. By extending the payment dates, the SSA wants to better manage how the money is spent.

Please keep in mind that this payment plan is only for SSDI benefits and may be different for other Social Security benefits as well. You might find it helpful to know when you will be getting disability payments so that you can plan your monthly spending well.
