- Birthdays between the 1st and 10th: Payments on the second Wednesday of the month.
- Birthdays between the 11th and 20th: Payments on the third Wednesday.
- Birthdays between the 21st and 31st: Payments on the fourth Wednesday.

SSDI Payment October: Additional days for payment
If you belong to a different payment category, like those who started getting benefits before May 1997 or those who also receive Supplemental Security Income (SSI), you will receive your SSDI payments on the third of each month. Your SSI payments usually come on the first.
What should you do if you don’t get your payment?
While delays are uncommon, they can happen. The Social Security Administration (SSA) advises you to wait three business days before taking action. If your payment is still missing after that, first check with your bank. If it’s not there, you can call, email, or visit a local SSA office to talk to someone.
