Since 1997, the Social Security Administration (SSA) has used a staggered payment pattern, with benefits paid on the third Wednesday of each month, based on beneficiaries' birth dates.

SSDI Payment Schedule June: Twenty-seven years ago, the Social Security Administration (SSA) implemented the staggered payment pattern. Since then, the third Wednesday of every month is when millions of beneficiaries nationwide receive their Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) benefits. Are you aware of your status on the Wednesday payment list?
Since 1997, the second, third, and fourth Wednesdays of each month have traditionally been when payments are made. The payment is advanced to the prior business day if the date falls on a holiday. The SSA pays SSDI benefits under this approach based on the beneficiaries’ dates of birth.

Beneficiaries whose dates of birth lie between the first and the tenth pay on the second Wednesday of the month. Receivers born between the 11th and the 20th get their deposit on Wednesday third; those born between the 21st and the 31st get their money on Wednesday fourth.
Beneficiaries born between the 21st and the 31st of the month will get their payment on June 26 per the SSA payment schedule. Funds are directly deposited into your bank account.
Should you be registered in the SSDI program before May 1997 or if you get Supplemental Security Income (SSI), the first of every month is when the Social Security Administration (SSA) deposits your payments.
If your payment comes after the due date, the Social Security Administration wants you to wait three working days. Afterward, call your bank to check if there are issues on their end. If your bank is working fine and you still haven’t gotten your deposit, go to the Social Security office in your area.

Social media users have been spreading rumours recently that recipients of Social Security will see an increase in their monthly cost-of-living adjustments (COLA) benefits of $600. The SSA has already refuted the rumour, though.
Martin O’Malley, the SSA Commissioner, ruled out the increase and kindly reminded everyone that the release of the upcoming COLA in October will coincide with your first payment of 2025.
