Starbucks Extra Rewards: How your morning dark roast could give your wallet a boost?

Starbucks is offering additional benefits to customers who pay for coffee using an approved debit or credit card connected in the Starbucks app.

Starbucks Extra Rewards: Now, your bank account may benefit from your morning black roast as well. When you pay for your coffee using an approved debit or credit card connected in the Starbucks app, you may get even more benefits from the new relationship between Bank of America and Starbucks

Starbucks Extra Rewards

Customers of Starbucks Rewards who use the Starbucks app to pay with connected funds currently receive two Stars for every dollar spent. As part of this new relationship, when you link and pay with your qualified Bank of America card, you’ll receive one additional Star for each $2 you spend. You may earn as many Stars as you like, and you can exchange them for products, beverages with extra ingredients, food items, and whole-bean coffee.

In addition to earning more Stars, Bank of America will give you an extra 2% in cash back. This implies that you will receive 2% cash back at Starbucks in addition to earning two points on dining purchases made with your Bank of America® Premium Rewards® credit card. If you use the Bank of America® Unlimited Cash Rewards credit card, you may receive 3.5% cash back on purchases made through the Starbucks app in addition to 1.5% cash back on all other transactions.

But what if using your card to make purchases doesn’t typically result in cash back? On purchases made using the Starbucks app, even qualified Bank of America debit and nonrewards cards will earn 2% cash back.

The maximum amount of cash back you may get from Starbucks purchases is unlimited, and when you redeem it, the money will be sent within 30 days to a credit account or deposit account that qualifies.

It’s crucial to remember that taxes, gratuities, sales of alcoholic beverages, actual Starbucks Cards, and Starbucks eGifts do not earn Starbucks Stars. However, Bank of America will give you 2% cash back on the whole value of your transaction. Moreover, Starbucks rewards expire six months after the calendar month in which they were earned, even if your cash back gains never expire. Finally, make careful to verify your location because not all Starbucks stores accept payments through the app.

Which Cards Meet the Requirements?

The majority of Merrill Lynch credit cards and Bank of America debit and credit cards are eligible. ATM-only cards, corporate and vacation cards, fleet cards, employee cards for small businesses, cards linked to health accounts, and cards for flexible spending accounts are just a few examples of the exclusions.

How Can I Commence?

You must sign up for BofA’s BankAmeriDeals programme, link your qualified Bank of America card to your Starbucks Rewards account, and pay with the Starbucks app in-store or while placing an online order in order to be eligible for this benefit.

You must download the Starbucks app to your phone or sign up online for the U.S. Starbucks Rewards programme if you don’t already have it.
