New Jersey residents will receive a $1,500 stimulus check from the ANCHOR Tax Relief Program 2024 on January 10, 2024, to help with high living expenses, particularly property taxes.

Stimulus Checks 2024: In exciting news for residents of New Jersey, a new stimulus check of $1,500 is set to be distributed on January 10, 2024. The ANCHOR Tax Relief Program 2024 is intended to provide financial assistance to individuals who meet specific criteria for income, residence, and homeownership. As a result of high living expenses, particularly property taxes, many citizens of New Jersey are faced with financial burdens resulting from the program.

As outlined in the program details, homeowners in New Jersey who own homes in 2019 and have a combined income of $150,000 or less in 2023 will be eligible for a $1,500 rebate. Additionally, homeowners with family incomes falling within $150,001 and $250,000 will be eligible for a $1,000 benefit. As a result, renters with incomes less than $150,000 on their 2019 tax returns will receive a stimulus check of $450.

The ANCHOR program is also notable for its inclusivity, assisting residents living in assisted living facilities or those who have experienced significant life changes such as marriage or the loss of a spouse. As well as providing relief to homeowners and renters, it is unique in that no age restrictions or prerequisites apply.

To take advantage of this opportunity, residents are encouraged to apply for the program. The application period began on October 12, 2023, and concluded on December 29, 2023. In January 2024, eligible individuals will receive their payments. While filling out the application, applicants may choose whether to receive their benefit by paper check or by direct deposit.
