While some sources state that money is ready to be distributed to residents, others dispute this assertion and advise against putting people’s trust in this fictitious stimulus.

A 125 million dollar cash pool was allegedly waiting to be disbursed to Californians, except the state’s wealthiest citizens. It was reported that 624,000 residents had missed the chance to claim their portion of the funds.
Fast Company clarified things further in May by stating that neither the IRS nor the State of California are planning to send stimulus funds.
More stimulus checks are allegedly in the works, according to a growing number of websites, and since most Americans would be delighted to get one, the reports are being taken seriously.

According to Fast Company, the third payment for the federal Economic Impact Payments was sent in 2021. Only for the tax year in which they were issued, taxpayers who never got them could still claim them as a recovery rebate credit.
