Texas SNAP Benefits Payment: The Lone Star Card is used to get Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits and Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) cash aid payments from the Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC).

A recipient can freeze or request a new card if their card has been lost or stolen through the app or by contacting the Lone Star Helpdesk.
