Residents of Texas can apply for SNAP benefits online using the Your Texas Benefits website or by mail using the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) platform.

How can I renew my benefits in Texas online?

Recipients of SNAP must adhere to strict recertification guidelines established by HHSC to keep their benefits. Every six months, on average, the renewal process takes place, although this timing is flexible.
