The Canadian financial calendar for 2024

The Canadian financial calendar is set to be historic, with significant events like the Summer Olympics in Paris, Mickey Mouse's public debut, and elections in Russia, the United States, and India. However, certain dates remain unchangeable for investors.

Canadian financial calendar: We’re about to start a brand new year, and it’s going to be big. The Summer Olympics are in Paris, France; Mickey Mouse debuts; and Russian, American, and Indian elections are coming up.

Nonetheless, some dates are (largely) unchangeable for investors, such as tax and investment account contribution deadlines, regardless of what the markets do or do not. In case you’re unsure about the dates, we’ve prepared a helpful list that includes all the important events in 2024. The list is as follows:
