VA Benefits Payment November: Who will get it?

VA benefits payments are typically sent on the last business day of the following month, allowing veterans to make budgets and ensure proper payment.

VA Benefits Payment November: Knowing the exact payment plan can help veterans who depend on VA benefits as their main source of income make budgets. Most of the time, the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) sends out payments for a month on the first of the next month.

It is paid on the last business day before the first, though, if it is a holiday or weekend. This means that the payment for October’s benefits should arrive on the last business day of October, since November 1 would be the official start date if it were a normal weekday.

VA Benefits Payment November: Dates of payment

October benefits will be paid by the VA on Friday, November 1, as per normal. However, because December 1st occurs on a Sunday this year, VA regulations require that the November payment be moved to Friday, November 29.

It is important to keep in mind that the VA offers two different kinds of benefits. Veterans who experience a medical issue as a result of their service are eligible for Disability Payment. In turn, surviving family members who qualify for the benefit receive Dependency and Indemnity Compensation.

Therefore, if you fall into one of these two categories, pay close attention to your bank account since you will receive double compensation in November, which might be quite helpful.
