Liverpool, led by Jurgen Klopp, defeated Fulham 3-2 overall in a challenging second leg, securing a semifinal date with the Blues in the nation’s capital.

What date is the 2024 Carabao Cup Final?

The Carabao/EFL Cup final usually takes place in late February, which is later in the calendar than the FA Cup and European finals.

Unlike the FA Cup final-four ties, the two-leg January semifinals are played both at home and away at the respective clubs, with the final being reserved for Wembley.

Wembley Stadium will host the 2024 final on Sunday, February 25. Although the kickoff time has not yet been confirmed, it is expected to be at 4:30 p.m. local time (11:30 a.m. ET) in 2023.

Are games in the Premier League rescheduled for the Carabao Cup final?

Although there is typically a time period set out for the game, the Carabao/EFL Cup final does not have the same amount of protection as the FA Cup. Whichever clubs get to the final, there will still be a Premier League matchday that weekend.

Naturally, the league game that weekend for any Premier League side participating in the cup final will be rescheduled to a later date.

This means that Chelsea’s London derby match against Tottenham and Liverpool’s home match against Luton Town have both been postponed. There is still no confirmation of new dates or timings for those games.
