College Football Playoff Rankings: Check CFP selection show schedule, time

Tuesday nights were when the last five sets of rankings were broadcast.

College Football Playoff Rankings: The long wait to find out which four college football teams will play for the richest and most sought prize in the sport is finally over after weeks and months of suspense.

The four teams participating in this year’s College Football Playoffs will be unveiled on Sunday during an ESPN selection show.

Every year, the Big Ten will play a significant role in Sunday’s events. After defeating Iowa 26-0 in a shutout in Saturday’s Big Ten championship game in Indianapolis, Michigan has a 13-0 record and has won its conference for the third time in a row, all but assuring a trip to the postseason for the team.

If Ohio State loses to the Wolverines in their regular-season rivalry game, it will have a difficult time making the playoffs again, just as it did the season before when it lost to Michigan. The playoff selection committee ranked the Buckeyes sixth last week, and it’s likely that their unexpected upset loss to Georgia at the top and their valiant victory over Florida State at the bottom will prevent them from competing in the championship game.

Now that the eagerly anticipated time has arrived, here is all the information you need to determine who will be chosen for the playoffs:
