Europa League 2023-24: Group Winners Set to Face Unseeded Teams in Next Round

Europa League 2023-24: Group winners in the Europa League will play against teams without seeds. Following the qualifiers, the UEFA Europa League 2023–24 has taken shape, with 16 teams guaranteed a spot in the following round of the competition. Rangers, Liverpool, Brighton, Bayer Leverkusen, and other teams are among those vying for the trophy.

The Europa League starts at 11:00 GMT and the teams drawn are Rangers, West Ham, Brighton, and Liverpool.

All five clubs will play their first leg away on Thursday, March 7, and their second leg at home on March 14 due to their respective seeds. The two last-16 draws of each tournament are held at the UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland, and comprise the eight group-stage winners and the eight knockout round play-off finalists.

Key dates for the UEFA Europa League 2023–24

The play-off round, which ended on Thursday night, was not open to any of the teams that won their groups in the Europa League.

As the seeded teams, those groups will play the eight unseeded teams that made it through the playoffs in their respective last-16 draws.

The unseeded teams will play the first leg of the contest at home on March 7; a week later, on March 14, the seeded teams will host the second leg of the match.

March 7: Europa League last -16 first legs

March 15: Europa League quarter-final and semi-final draw

April 11: Europa League quarter-final first legs

April 18: Europa League quarter-final second legs

May 2: Europa League semi-final first legs

May 9: Europa League semi-final second legs

May 22: Europa League final – Dublin, Ireland
