ICC World Cup 2023 Revised Schedule: The schedule for the 2023 ICC World Cup has been released by ICC. India will host the 2023 ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup from October 5 to November 19, 2023.The upcoming World Cup will feature ten nations in total. In addition to India, Afghanistan, Australia, England, Bangladesh, New Zealand, Pakistan, and South Africa have also qualified directly. The performance of these teams in the 2020-2023 ICC Cricket World Cup Super League earned them their positions. The final two nations will be determined by the ongoing World Cup Qualifications in Zimbabwe.
The alteration in dates for the Indian vs. Pakistan match is primarily due to the beginning of the Navratri festival.If the match had been played on its original date of October 15, security arrangements would have been challenging. The ICC and BCCI approached the PCB with a request to reschedule two of its group matches, including the match against India in Ahmedabad.
The eagerly anticipated ICC World Cup match between India and Pakistan, originally scheduled for October 15 in Ahmedabad, may now be contested on October 14.
The inaugural match of the tournament will take place at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on October 5. The final of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 will be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, as announced by BCCI Secretary Jay Shah.

From September 29 to October 3, Guwahati and Thiruvananthapuram, in addition to Hyderabad, will host the warm-up matches.
Each team will face each other once during the tournament’s round-robin format. The best four teams will then advance to the semifinals, and the winners of those matches will meet in the championship match. On October 8 in Chennai, India’s first contest of the tournament will be against the defending champions, Australia. The subsequent matches will be against Afghanistan, Pakistan, Bangladesh, New Zealand, England, Qualifier 2, South Africa, and Qualifier 1. The championship match will take place at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on November 19.
