LIV Golf Jeddah: On Friday, March 1st, LIV Golf Jeddah, the third event of the season, will get underway.
LIV Golf Jeddah, an event that has been a staple of the circuit for the past two seasons, will have a payout of $25 million. The winning team will receive a $3 million prize, while the winner (individual) will receive a $4 million payment.
LIV Golf Jeddah will follow a format that is comparable to previous circuit events. Shotgun starts will be used, and the 54-hole format will be stroke play. The third round will start at 11:05 am local time, while the first two rounds will tee off at 11:15 am local time (3:15 am Eastern Time).
October saw the first two LIV Golf Jeddah competitions (2022 and 2023). But in 2024, the timetable moved it to March, meaning that there was hardly a four-month gap between the second and third editions.
The Royal Greens Golf & Country Club in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia’s King Abdullah Economic City is the venue for the event. This par-72, 7010-yard course has played host to every LIV Golf Jeddah tournament in addition to Aramco Team Series and Aramco Saudi Ladies International competitions.
Below is the field for LIV Golf Jeddah:
The inclusion of Anthony Kim, who will have a wild card into the final ten events of the season, is the big story surrounding the LIV Golf Jeddah field. Kim’s current form is unknown, but he has already traveled to Jeddah to take part in the event.

The remaining 54 players on the field are the same ones who took part in the circuit’s two prior tournaments. Dustin Johnson, who is now leading the season, and Jon Rahm, who is his closest rival, both stand out.
Having won the last two Jeddah events, Brooks Koepka will be aiming to continue his winning streak. Currently ranked fourth in the individual standings for the current season, Talor Gooch was the top player on the circuit in 2023.
A number of players who have had inconsistent success in LIV Golf up to this point, like as Sergio Garcia, Dean Burmester, Matt Wolff, Peter Uihlein, and Paul Casey, have had strong starts to the season and will be hoping to build on them in Jeddah.
The other circuit stars, including as Cam Smith and Bryson DeChambeau, will also aim to move up the individual standings.
There are a few young players on the LIV Golf field that are starting to make an impression. This season, David Puig and Caleb Surrat stand out as the most noteworthy examples.
