Following a replay of the men's Day 2 competition, the senior women's Day 2 events will be broadcast live. Both of these programmes will be broadcast on NBC.
U.S. Gymnastics Championships 2023: At the U.S. Classic earlier this month, Simone Biles quickly dispelled any lingering doubts about her aptitude after two years of rehabilitation.
The next stage for her is the United States Gymnastics Championships, a sparkling jewel on the American sports calendar.
Biles is the eldest competitor in the field at age 26. She is also the favourite, having displayed her gold-medal-winning abilities on each apparatus as she cruised to a 59.100 all-around total, five points higher than the runner-up. She even executed a Yurchenko double pike on vault, one of the most challenging manoeuvres in her extensive repertoire.
Biles lends prestige to any event in which she competes. However, she is not the only celebrity anticipated to captivate the San Jose SAP Centre crowd. Olympic champions Suni Lee (all-around) and Jade Carey (floor) should provide formidable competition for Simone Biles, along with team silver medalist Jordan Chiles, who has continued to excel at UCLA.
On the men’s side, the situation should be equally unpredictable. Due to an injury, two-time champion Brody Malone is unable to compete, leaving a void in the field. However, roses can grow in chaotic environments. And for U.S. Classic champion Asher Hong and 2023 NCAA all-around champion Fred Richard, Malone’s absence could propel them to new heights, as well as a canary medallion.
Here is everything you need to know about the U.S. Gymnastics Championships this weekend, including broadcast information and the television schedule.
