Mark Gurman of Bloomberg predicts Apple will launch new iPad Air, iPad Pro, and MacBook Air models by the end of March, with production already underway in the Asian supply chain.
Apple’s New Product Launch: As per the information disclosed by Mark Gurman of Bloomberg in his latest Power On newsletter, it is expected that Apple will introduce new iPad Air, iPad Pro, and MacBook Air models before the end of March. Gurman points out that inside Apple’s Asian supply chain, production is already underway for the next iPad Pro models and, at the absolute least, a new 13-inch MacBook Air.
Gurman lays out what to anticipate from the next generation of iPads and Macs, including rumoured improvements and changes. It is anticipated that the iPad Air range would include an upgraded 10.9-inch model in addition to a larger 12.9-inch display size. According to rumours, the next iPad Air versions will support Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi 6E, and a revised back camera bump in addition to including Apple’s M2 processor for improved performance. For this iteration, no substantial modifications to the exterior design are planned.

It’s often assumed that the next 11- and 13-inch iPad Pro models will be the first iPads with OLED screens. In comparison to current models with LCD screens, OLED technology is anticipated to offer benefits including better brightness, more brilliant colours, a higher contrast ratio, reduced battery consumption, and other improvements. The future iPad Pro models could cost more as a result of the OLED changeover.
A revamped Magic Keyboard with an aluminium top case and a bigger touchpad, Apple’s newest M3 CPU for improved performance, MagSafe wireless charging, and a front camera orientated for landscape mode are among other rumoured features. There are also rumours of changes to the back camera design, which are anticipated to occur with the next iPad Air variants.
It is expected that the MacBook Air 13-inch and 15-inch versions would receive upgrades at the same time in March. The arrival of Apple’s most recent M3 CPU will be the standout feature of these laptops.
The next MacBook Air models with the M3 processor should experience improvements in visual rendering in games with more realistic lighting, reflections, and shadows thanks to hardware-accelerated ray tracing and mesh shading. There won’t be any significant design changes to the MacBook Air this year, in contrast to the iPad range. That being said, it is most likely going to feature Wi-Fi 6E, in line with current Macs. The 13-inch MacBook Air was last updated in July 2022, and the 15-inch MacBook Air was first offered in June 2023.
