Credit Acceptance Guest Payment: Ways and Steps To Make Payments?

Even if you make a payment arrangement, payments received after the due date listed in your contract will be considered past due.

Credit Acceptance Guest Payment: Any monthly payment unpaid more than 30 days after the payment due date listed in your contract will be reported as delinquent.

You are required to make each payment on the due date specified in your contract with us. If unforeseen circumstances prevent you from making payments on time, please notify us as soon as possible.

How can I use the Customer Portal to set up AutoPay?

On the web: 

a. Log on to the Portal for Customers.

a. Select Enrol in AutoPay if you don’t currently have an autopay schedule, or Select Modify AutoPay if you do.

c. Click Next Step after choosing your payment option.

• Debit cards and bank accounts (via the ACH payment option) can be used to make payments.

• By clicking Add New Payment Method, you can use a new payment method or use one you have already saved.

• The card number, CVV, expiration date, and name of the cardholder are required for new debit cards.

• The sort of bank account (checking, savings, or money market), the account number, the routing number, the bank name, and the account holder’s name are required for new ACH payment methods.

d. Decide on the amount, frequency, start date, and end date (if desired) of your payments.

• Monthly: Every month on the same day

Weekly: every week on the same day
• Every other week on the same day, bi-weekly

• Semi-Monthly: Same dates each month, two days of choice

• Open the Customer Portal and log in.

• On the main page of the Portal, select “Enrol in AutoPay.”

• To set up AutoPay, follow the setup steps.

The timetable that the customer specifies will be followed for the posting of payments. Recurring payment adjustments must be made one day before the following scheduled payment date. We process payments on all days of the week, including holidays. It is possible to set up or change recurring payments every day of the week, including holidays.

On your cheque or money order, please provide your payment coupon and Credit Acceptance account number. Don’t send money. Send only your coupon and no further correspondence.

Payments made to Credit Acceptance directly, as opposed to the P.O. Box, typically arrive to us later. Direct payments to Credit Acceptance will be posted the same business day if they are received by 5 p.m. Eastern Time.

Payments by cheque or money order should be dropped off at the drop box outside the Credit Acceptance office, which is situated at 25505 West 12 Mile Road in Southfield, Michigan. Cash should not be placed in the drop box. Put your account number on your money order or cheque.
