How to Delete Your Google Pay Transaction History: Our government has promoted contactless payments, which are promoted as being simpler and quicker. Such transactions are safer, and all of them are also recorded. Since the process is contactless, electronic payments are viewed as more hygienic in the post-COVID-19 world. Google Pay is one such “virtual wallet”-based payment method.

When registering or linking your Google Account to Google Pay, you can only use Google Pay in India. The registration must be completed using an Indian mobile number and bank account. This is because the Google Pay App should not be used abroad.

Enter’my.account.google.com’ followed by a search.

It can take up to twelve hours to erase transaction history.

How Google Pay functions

You will be required to input and save your payment method, shipping address, etc. on your Google Account. During a transaction, it may be necessary to select a payment method, add an optional shipping address, or provide additional information.

On the payment sheet displaying the supported payment methods, select the one you wish to use, and Google Pay will securely return the chosen payment token.

Your application will then send the payment token and other purchase details to its backend. Now, the backend will execute the transaction and send the payment token to the service provider.
