How to Activate FanDuel Sports Network on TV; Easy Setup Guide

How to Activate FanDuel Sports Network:
The FanDuel Sports Network (FDSN) is a re-branded group of regional sports networks previously known under other names.
When you open the FDSN app on a smart TV, streaming device or via some platforms, you’ll be shown an activation code. That code links your device to your account or TV provider, so your device becomes authorised to view content.

Pre-Activation Checklist

Before you begin, make sure you have the following:

A compatible device: smart TV, streaming box (Roku, Apple TV, Fire TV), game console or similar, with the FDSN app installed.

A FDSN account (or be ready to create one).

Your TV provider credentials or a subscription to FDSN (if you’re using direct-to-consumer).

The activation code visible on your TV screen (once you launch the FDSN app).

A second device (phone, tablet or computer) with a web browser to enter the code.

Stable internet connection.

How to Activate FanDuel Sports Network on TV?

1.‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ Install & Open the FDSN App

Install the FanDuel Sports Network app on your smart TV or streaming device (if you haven’t already) and then launch the app.

The first thing you’ll probably see is a prompt to “Sign In” or “Connect TV Provider” that comes along with an activation code being displayed (most of the time, the code consists of 6 characters) on the TV screen.

2. Go to the activation website

Using a different device (computer, tablet, or phone) open a browser and navigate to the following URL:

https://fanduelsportsnetwork.com/activate

Additionally, you might be able to get there through the help section by clicking on “How to pair your device using Pin & Pair”.

3. Fill in the code you see on the TV

The first thing you notice on the activation site should be a place to put the code that came with the TV. Put in the code just like it was (if there is a hyphen, include it) and press the “Activate” button or something like that.

It may happen that the code gets expired or that you wait too long, so in any case, you have to go back to the TV app and request a new code in order to get a new one.

4. Connect TV Provider / Sign In

If the code is accepted:

By connecting your TV provider, which includes FDSN, you will be able to select the option “Connect TV Provider” and enter your user name and password related to the provider. You will then be able to confirm through your provider that you have access.

In case you don’t have a TV provider, you can directly subscribe through FDSN (if it’s available in your area) and then sign in with your FDSN credentials.

Then the TV or streaming device you are using should automatically update and display network content.

5. Final Step

Check the screen of your TV to see whether the task is completed or not. Instead of showing an activation code, the app should now allow you to navigate through the content and even stream it. To confirm everything is in place, you can try streaming a live game or show.

If things don’t go smoothly, you might want to try again logging out and logging back in or restart.

Common Troubleshooting

Code expired: Go back to the TV app to get a new activation code and then enter it.

Incorrect TV provider credentials: Ensure that you are using the right username and password for the provider and that this includes the plan that you have for FDSN channel.

Make sure the FDSN app on your TV/streaming device is up to date with the latest version.

Some content might be blocked if your home zip code isn’t in our coverage area.

Try logging out of your FDSN account on the TV app, then log back in. This simple step often solves weird glitches.

FAQs

Do I need to activate the service every time I watch?

Nope. Once you’ve activated your device and linked it to your account or provider, you’re good to go. Sometimes, for security reasons, you’ll need to log in again, but that’s not the norm.

Which devices work with FDSN?

You can use the FDSN app on smart TVs, streaming devices like Roku, Apple TV, Fire TV, game consoles, and mobile or tablet devices. For a full list, check out “Supported Devices and Platforms” in our help center.

What if my TV provider doesn’t offer FanDuel Sports Network?

If your provider doesn’t carry FDSN, you can sign up directly with us (if available in your area), or switch to a provider that does. You can also look into add-ons sometimes you’ll find FDSN through services like Amazon Prime Video.

I entered the code, but my TV still shows the activation screen. Now what?

Double-check that you entered the code correctly, then hit “Activate.” Wait a minute or two, it can take a bit to sync up. If it’s still stuck, get a fresh code from your TV app and try again. Make sure your provider credentials are right, too. If all else fails, restart the app or your device. That usually does the trick.

Am I able to watch the content if I am not in the US?

A: FDSN is a group of local networks in the United States, and it depends on the zip code you are at and the rights in that region. So, if you are outside the United States, neither the games nor the network might be available to you.

How many devices can share one account?

That is dependent on your subscription plan or the terms of your TV provider. Look into your provider’s policy and the FDSN account’s terms to find out the limits on the number of devices that can stream simultaneously.

Will the activation code ever be invalid?

Yes. Most of the time the activation code that is displayed on the TV is only valid for a short period. That means if you wait too long, you will have to get a new code from the TV ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌app.

Can I change my home zip code after activation?

Yes, but if you change your home location or zip you may need to re-activate or sign out and sign back in, since regional rights (which teams you can view) may change.

Is there any cost to activate?

Activation itself is free, it’s simply linking your device. However, you need to have either (a) a TV provider that carries FDSN in your subscription, or (b) a direct subscription to FDSN. Activation doesn’t waive those costs, if applicable.
