Star Citizen Error Code 19005 is an account login timeout issue where the RSI Launcher fails to verify your details with backend servers, often due to launcher bugs, time sync problems, or ISP conflicts.
Star Citizen Login Failure: If you are seeing Star Citizen Error Code 19005, it usually means there is a login problem. This error is known as an Account Login Timeout or Authentication Service Failure. In simple words, your RSI Launcher is able to connect to the internet, but it cannot properly verify your account with the Cloud Imperium Games servers. The launcher tries to complete a special connection step, often called a handshake, but it fails.
The problem increased after the Launcher 3.0 update. This new version seems to clash with some internet providers and certain network settings. Because of this, more users are stuck in the 19005 error loop.
The best solution is to go back to the older launcher version. The latest launcher has a known bug related to login tokens. You do not need to delete the whole game. Only remove the RSI Launcher app.
The older version handles account verification in a different way. Because of this, it usually avoids the 19005 error.
This game is very strict about your computer’s clock. Even if your system time is off by 20 seconds, the login token may expire before it reaches the server.
