Leaked iPad Air 12.9-Inch: Recent CAD images that were obtained and posted by 91Mobiles are said to show off Apple’s next 12.9-inch iPad Air model’s design and aesthetic components. These renderings reveal an overall look that is consistent with the fourth- and fifth-generation Air models, but scaled up to fit a larger 12.9-inch display, of course.

One significant change to the design is the back camera unit, which has an extended pill-shaped protrusion instead of the spherical notch that is present in the existing iPad Air. The back camera module on the iPhone X and iPhone XS is similar to this new design.
When viewed from the front, the iPad Air has a strong resemblance to the 12.9-inch iPad Pro that is already in use, but for the somewhat bigger bezels. This is similar to the 10.9-inch iPad Air’s design decision to encircle the display with broader borders than the 11-inch iPad Pro.

This tablet is expected to satisfy consumers looking for a bigger tablet than the 10.9-inch iPad Air, but without the need for the more sophisticated technologies found in the 12.9-inch iPad Pro, including a LiDAR scanner or ProMotion technology. This method is consistent with Apple’s philosophy, which is seen in devices such as the 15.3- and 13.6-inch MacBook Air, the 6.1-inch iPhone 15, and the 6.7-inch iPhone 15 Plus.
Regarding the internal characteristics of the gadget, 91Mobiles confirms rumours that the next iPad Air will sport the M2 processor, demonstrating Apple’s dedication to implementing cutting-edge technology. There are signs that the gadget is already in the manufacturing process, with rumours suggesting that production would start in the first quarter of 2024. The launch is expected to happen “early” this year; March is a good option for the announcement.
