PlayStation Plus Games for July 2023

“We are pleased to announce the PlayStation Plus Monthly Games for the month of July. Sony announced in a blog post that PlayStation Plus members will have access to Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, Alan Wake Remastered, and Endling – Extinction is Forever from Tuesday, July 4 until Monday, July 31. Additionally, Sony is evaluating cloud streaming for specific PS5 titles

The first game in the PlayStation Plus lineup for the month of July is Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, which immerses you in the unstable Cold War era. You assume the role of a CIA agent who is a member of a covert team that undertakes perilous missions across the globe, from East Berlin to Vietnam, to thwart a Soviet plot that threatens the global order. You will encounter historical figures like Ronald Reagan and Mikhail Gorbachev as well as fictional characters like Perseus, an enigmatic Soviet spy who is behind the plot. Will also make moral judgements and choices that affect the story’s conclusion.

The second game in the lineup is Alan Wake Remastered, which is a remaster of the 2010 psychological thriller Alan Wake. Alan Wake, a best-selling author suffering from writer’s block, travels to the small village of Bright Falls with his wife, Alice. But when Alice disappears, Alan finds himself in a nightmare where he must use a torch and a gun to fight against shadowy adversaries. The game also includes two narrative extensions, The Signal and The Writer, which continue Alan’s journey and reveal additional secrets.

Last but not least is Endling – Extinction is Forever, which focuses on environmentalism, survival, and family. The game follows the story of a mother fox who must defend her three cubs from the dangers of a world destroyed by human greed and pollution. Combining stealth, exploration, and puzzle-solving, the game is a side-scrolling adventure. The game also depicts animal behaviour and interactions with realism and emotion.

The fact that PlayStation Plus subscribers have until July 3 to obtain June’s games, including NBA 2K23, Jurassic World Evolution 2, and Trek to Yomi, is irrelevant.
