Samsung introduces The Music Frame, a speaker version of its popular The Frame TV

As part of Samsung’s motivation to develop a speaker version of the highly popular TV, the company developed The Frame TV. Samsung intends to introduce a new speaker that blends seamlessly into the home and will provide greater aesthetic optics. The speaker is Samsung’s version of the Symfonisk picture frame speaker manufactured by Sonos and Ikea.

Frame TV has been very successful due to its aesthetic appeal as well as its ability to blend into the home in a manner that is different from traditional rectangular television sets. The display is adorned with a large collection of artwork that adorns its display when it is idle, as well as customizable wood bezels and matte screen options. Art enthusiasts have chosen Samsung’s The Frame TV as their TV of choice because it belies the traditional tech design and appearance. This concept has been extended in the new Samsung Music Frame.

Like The Frame TV, the speaker seamlessly blends into the home environment by resembling a picture frame that can display photographs or art. With its built-in woofers and intelligent audio processing, it also provides surround sound for Samsung’s 2024 television lineup, including the anti-glare OLED TV.

As well as its two woofers, the Samsung Music Frame has two tweeters, two midrange drivers, and a waveguide for spreading the sound across the room effectively. It supports WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity, while being powered by a power cable.

Currently, there are no details regarding the Samsung Music Frame speaker’s price. As far as pricing is concerned, the Samsung Music Frame speaker could be compared to the $259.99 Sonos/Ikea Symfonisk frame speakers that are expected to be released in Spring 2024.
