We enjoy celebrating birthdays with friends, family, and colleagues at Story of Ramen. On February 2, 2020, we celebrated Antonio Hernandez’s 26th birthday with friends from various stages of his life, including friends from his birthplace, college, and other acquaintances he made along the way.
Hernandez passes the Story of Ramen storefront on his way to work every day, and as a ramen enthusiast who always suggests trying a new ramen restaurant when hanging out with friends, he thought this would be the perfect location for his birthday celebration.
Hernandez said, “I didn’t know what to expect, but it was better than whatever I had in mind.” “It was a ton of joy! I thought it was very cool how much background is provided on the history of ramen and why we use certain ingredients – I appreciated this section a great deal! Everyone at the party knew me, but not everyone knew each other. As a result, a lot of people interacted with each other in novel and enjoyable ways that I don’t believe would have occurred at a different type of party.”
As our guests learned how to make ramen and then ate their labored noodles, there was no doubt that the occasion was filled with affection and mirth.
We wish Hernandez a long, happy, and healthy life, and we encourage our other readers to consider celebrating their birthdays at the Story of Ramen.
