NEET: MBBS and medical PG seats will not remain vacant in medical colleges, government bringing new system

Some candidates are continuously demanding to postpone the NEET exam, but there was no response from the Ministry of Health or the Ministry of Education. Students demanding extension of NEET date said that CUET and NEET for admission to universities are being held together, which will make it difficult for students to appear in both the exams.

It is worth noting that this time around 18 lakh applications have come for NEET, which is the biggest record till date. This time around 2.5 lakh applications have come more than last year. In such a situation, the cutoff of NEET is likely to be high this time.

Exam will be held for 90 thousand MBBS seats:

As per reports, this year NEET will be the entrance exam for 90,825 MBBS seats in India. Along with this, NEET will be conducted for 27,948 seats for BDS, 52,720 for AYUSH, 487 for BSc Nursing and 603 for BVSC.
