In January 2017, Blueface started rapping under the name Blueface Bleedem, which was a reference to the fact that he was a member of the School Yard Crips gang. Once Blueface got back to Los Angeles from graduating from Fayetteville State University, he was asked to go to his friend Laudiano’s music studio and get a phone charger.
