Gaule eventually gained the go-ahead from Monkey Tatuapé to captain a junior squad. In 2001, he went to Rio de Janeiro with the senior squad and was given the chance to play in the Cyberathlete Professional League when a player was having trouble. From then on, Gaules “never left the team again.” Along with Rodrigo “crash” Rodrigues, Igor “VIP” Melro, Feijaum, and Mee, he co-founded g3nerationX (g3x) in July 2001. The group won their first championship. Feijaum and Mee left g3x following the victory, to be replaced by Carlos Henrique “Kiko” Segal, Rafael “BlooD” Frid, and Raphael “cogu” Camargo.
