He attended Long Beach Polytechnic High School and was 18 years old when he attended a music programme at the Grammy Museum. The “Take Time” EP by Giveon was nominated for a Grammy for ‘Best R&B Album’ in 2021. In the same year, he made his television debut on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” performing “Stuck on You.”
