Jonny Hawkins Biography: On October 28, 1986, renowned American rock vocalist Jonny Hawkins was born. Texas is where he was born in the United States. During his childhood, his mother succumbed to illness. Hawkins and Jenna are her sibling names, respectively.

Hawkins established the American rock group Nothing More in San Antonio, Texas, in 2003. Throughout the early 2000s, the band recorded independent albums and struggled to attract the attention of a record label. After nearly a decade as the band’s percussionist, Jonny Hawkins decided to assume the role of lead singer and guitarist a few years after the group’s formation.

Collectively with Mark Vollegunga on guitar and Daniel Oliver on bass, Hawkins successfully maintained the band’s fundamental lineup. The band recorded and self-financed their fourth studio album, which they utilized for three years to attract the interest of Eleven Seven Music Records, a record label that ultimately offered the band a five-year recording contract after hearing it. Their breakthrough album, “Nothing More,” was released in 2014. Several of their singles, including “This is the Time (Ballast),” which peaked at number one on the Mediabase Active Rock chart, appeared on the charts.

The band had intended to tour in 2016 with the intention of releasing a follow-up album; in September of 2017, they achieved this goal by releasing their fifth album, the second on a major record label. “The Stories We Tell Ourselves” was the disc’s title. The album’s release earned the band three Grammy nominations: ‘Best Rock Album,’ ‘Best Rock Performance,’ and ‘Best Rock Song,’ all for their work on the album, which reached its apex on the Mainstream Rock chart. In 2018, the band proceeded to produce music and issued the number-one singles “Just Say When” and “Do You Really Want It?” They have declared that they will be engaged in the production of an additional studio album in 2022.
