After a protracted fight with cancer, Suzanne Somers passed away at the age of 76 on Sunday, October 15, 2023 at her home in Palm Springs, California.
She received a stage II breast cancer diagnosis in April 2000 and underwent radiation therapy after a lumpectomy to remove the malignancy. In July 2023, the cancer came back.
The actress, who battled breast cancer for more than 23 years, passed away early on Sunday, the day before she would have turned 77, according to a post on Somers’ verified Instagram account by her publicist, R. Couri Hay.
