From this album, his single ‘Essence’ with Tems was the first Nigerian song to chart on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100. In August 2021, the song was remixed with Justin Bieber. “Made in Lagos” was nominated for two Grammys at the 64th Annual Grammy Awards and has won numerous local and international accolades. Wizkid is a critically acclaimed musician. He has signed significant brand agreements with Pepsi, M.T.N, U.B.A., Guinness, GLO, and a number of other companies.
