Tomorrow, June 1, 2023, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will release the supplementary exam application for the 10th and 12th grades. On the official CBSE website, cbse.gov.in, students who have been placed under compartment or who desire to improve their grades can fill out the application online. The submission deadline for the form is June 15, 2023.
The supplementary examination will begin on 17 July 2023 and will adhere to the same curriculum and format as the regular examination. Students who failed one or more subjects on the regular examination or were absent for valid reasons are eligible to take the supplementary examination.
For ordinary candidates, school officials will fill out the online exam form, while private candidates can do so directly on the CBSE website. The application fee for ordinary candidates is Rs. 300/- per subject, and a Rs. 2,000 late fee will be assessed if the form is submitted after the deadline.
To apply online, schools must generate a list of compartment students from their logon, choose the roll number and subject for each student, finalise their selection, pay online, and generate a final list with an authenticated copy for school records.
The dates for downloading admit cards will be communicated separately, and if there are any discrepancies, institutions must contact the regional office of the Board immediately.
This supplemental examination provides students with the opportunity to improve their grades and pass the subjects in which they previously laboured, thereby enhancing their academic opportunities and future prospects.
