AMU Faculty Members Obtained a Patent For Their Innovation Work

Patent For Their Innovation Work: An impressive feat has been accomplished by Professor Mohd. Rizwan Khan of ZHCET, Aligarh Muslim University, and Associate Professor Dr. Mohd. Faisal Khan of the University Polytechnic, who together have applied for and been granted a patent from the Indian Patent Office for their inventive work, “A Novel Nine-Phase Self Excited Induction Generator.”

The patent presents a novel design for a nine-phase self-excited induction generator that exhibits better harmonic profile, optimal flux distribution, and greater operational flexibility than previous iterations. This invention has the potential to completely transform the way renewable energy is produced, especially in isolated and off-grid locations.
