AMU Research Scholar Presents Research Paper At IIT Roorkee

AMU Research Scholar: Mr. Abdul Moeed, a research scholar at Aligarh Muslim University’s Department of West Asian and North African Studies, attended the conference “Digitalization and Inclusive Banking: Vision for the Next 25 Years” conducted at the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee.

During the presentation of his paper titled “Financing Higher Education and Educational Loans from Commercial Banks: Trends, Issues, and Challenges,” he highlighted the current educational loan landscape in the country, with a particular emphasis on the RBI-approved loan regime.

The purpose of the conference was to provide an interactive platform for policy experts, central banking experts, bank managers, academics, and research scholars working in this field to gather and discuss the national and global challenges in achieving the sustainable development goals (SDG), aligned with the goal of inclusive banking, and to propose solutions for the successful implementation of national and global action plans.

Mr. Moeed is pursuing a doctorate under the supervision of Prof. Mohammad Azhar (Dean of the Faculty of International Studies and Head of the Department of West Asian and North African Studies).
